In August 2017, the average and median sale prices for single-family homes in Parkland, FL increased year-over-year from 18% to $787,426 and 13% to $675,000, respectively. Sales of 62 single-family Parkland homes were completed last month with an active days-on-market average of only 88 days versus 113 days from the same time last year.
The MEDIAN is the midpoint value in the range where half the homes are in its upper range and the other half are in its lower range. Unlike the AVERAGE value, the median is not sensitive to high sale prices for a small number of homes in the market area.
